İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) Urla Campus continues to be a student-friendly campus with its new projects. IZTECH Rector Prof. Dr. The Science Tower was opened on 08.07.2021 with the participation of Yusuf Baran and the donor of the monument, businessman Mustafa Özsaraç. It was designed by Yankı Göktepe, the founder of Science Tower Nosyon.
This project, carried out in the light of science, reveals IZTECH's world-class innovative education and research, as well as its student-friendly approach. This monument, which was built for the students of the school to have easy access to drinking water, was designed by Architect Yankı Göktepe to make the campus sustainable and more modern.
IZTECH Science Tower emphasizes the importance of science, which is the main guide of the school. The seven pieces in the Science Tower embody the concepts of "human, education, science, technology, design, benefit and pioneering", which are the primary keywords for IZTECH. The Science Tower built will be the symbol of IZTECH students to graduate as individuals who will contribute to the world and humanity, and to shine in the light of science.
